Car: # 53 VIPER

Early on as a teenager Mike drove and competed in high performance drag racing. For many years he raced Chevrolet Camaro's and Nova's. In 1992 when Dodge began selling the V-10 powered Viper, the passion for racing really began to take foothold of Mike. In 2000 he purchased his first Viper, a 1996 roadster and almost immediately began taking it to high speed driving events. His enthusiasm for racing continued on into 2000, when he attended several racing schools including Skip Barber, the Panoz School and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course School.

In 2001 Mike began his professional racing career with the Viper Racing League (VRL). In order to continue gaining valuable experience during the 2001 season he also ran in the "Longest Night", a 24-hour endurance race, finishing 2nd in class. In 2002 he participated in SCCA Regional Club racing events finishing with 3 straight podium appearances in the last 3 events of the year. Then in 2003 Mike joined the highly competitive SCCA Pro Racing series World Challenge GT, driving a Dodge Viper GTS.

Now in 2010 Mike looks forward to campaigning the new Dezigns Construction/RH Motorsports Viper Competition Coupe in World Challenge GT against the likes of Porsche, Corvette, Nissan, and Volvo.
